This Daimler light 15 now owned by Mr Rodney Todman of St Neots orginated its life in the Webmasters (Tony) home town of Bridlington. It was delivered new to a Mrs Clara Croft on October 24th 1937. The car was produced at the end of the light fifteen production and was fitted with a 17 hp engine which was shoe horned in by a specialist firm in Putney Bridge Road London. That is why it has ended up with a London number plate. After 12 years in that ownership it moved to London and Cambridgeshire and was eventually bought by the present owner in the 70's. It is still in its orginal condition except for modern indicators and headlamp inserts to cope with todays conditions.
