My name is Pravut and I live in Thailand.  I am the current owner of 1987 Daimler DS420 Limousine in Bangkok.  .  My vehicle ID-number is SAJDWATL-3AA201012 with Engine No. 7M-5502-L.  On the Original Certificate of Registration, the car was purchased on Aug 24, 1987 by Arthur Bartfeld Group Ltd, Queens Quay, London.  Selling Dealer's was Wilcox & Co. (Limousine) Ltd. Chalfont St. Peter, Bucks.

The original vehicle registration number was E383ELY with owner registration number 99201012.  The car last major service record with 25,966 km was at SS Motors dated June 27, 1990.  The car was then shipped to Thailand and registered in Oct 19, 1990.The second owner was Mr. Chin Sophonpanich who was the founder and former Chairman of Bangkok Bank, Thailand's largest commercial bank.  The car then was transfered to his second son Mr. Chatri who is now the Chairman of the Board of Directors Bangkok Bank Public Co, Ltd.

The car was then sold to its forth owner Mr. Suriya  Larbvisuthisin, a former Deputy  Minister of Commerce in Aug, 2004.  The car was sold to me, as the fifth owner, on Sep 19, 2006 with the mileage of 48,130 km.  The car is now register under the Thai registration number plate ( ©¨-4444).  Most of the DS420 were used for the British Embassy car during the 70’s and 80’s.  After four years of services they were then auction out to the public.  Some other DS420 were being imported from abroad by local businessmen.  There are no more than ten Daimler DS 420 Limousine range from 1970’s to 90’s in Thailand.

Attached please find few photos of me and my DS420.  I am standing behind a guy sitting on a wheel chair, wearing green & blue stripe long sleeve shirt.  Also an old photo of me with the 70's former British Embassy DS420 taken about 25 years ago.
