Tony Cooper With my 1983 4.2 ser3 Daimler
History of the car
I bought the car in 1986 it previously being a mining company directors car. Since that time it has been run nearly on a daily basis with only the usual cosmetic surgery to the body every 2 or 3 years to keep up with the dreaded rot which seem to aspire to Daimlers of this age.The car has now done 80,000 without any major repairs, and oil pressure is still reasonable at about 45psi at 1000 rpm. I have driven a lot of different cars over the years but still love to get behind the wheel of this car.

1992 Daimler 4 litre auto bought at the end of May 2000.I have run this car for 3 years and except for replacing the self levelling suspension for a more normal one it gave 20,000 miles of trouble free motoring.

1995 X300 Daimler Bought April 2003 and so far is suberb and more in the style of the series 3
