DAIMLER CENTURY The history surrounding this car is that it has only had two owners from new , I being the 2nd. I purchased the vehicle in 2004 having found it in the early hours of the morning ( 01-30am) surfing the internet. It was placed their by Chilterns of Bovingdon (a specialist Jaguar/Daimler dealer). I purchased the vehicle with 62419 miles on the clock. I have since placed a further 1781 miles on the clock so it now reads 64200. The vehicle is in immaculate condition both internally, externally and mechanically. It is pampered, with many items replaced just because they're discoloured or look out of place. I have spent in excess £2000 keeping it in showroom condition, a lot of money when you think I've only done a small amount of miles. It has taken centre stage on several show grounds.I have previously owned a Daimler XJ40 (4.0) and an X300 Daimler (V12 - 6.0 SWB) both of which were immaculately kept and a joy to ride and look at. But I have to say that my Century is in my opinion the greatest car ever made.
